The Walk Of Life

Pune Chapter

The great city of Pune has always stood at the forefront of India’s social, cultural, and political awakenings. Today, that legacy continues with another remarkable initiative.

The Walk of Life is proud to launch its Pune Chapter—an inspiring step toward holistic wellness, spiritual growth, and cultural reconnection through walking. We are honored to have two distinguished leaders at the helm: Major Archis Sibnis and Wing Commander Vaishnavi Tokekar, whose service and spirit embody the mission of this movement.

Their leadership will energize a wave of community-driven activities in Pune, uniting people through purposeful walking and a deeper connection to India’s roots.

Our Goals

A Commitment to Wellness, Knowledge, and Growth

Transform lives by advancing grassroots literacy initiatives. We encourage student involvement in uplifting underserved communities through basic education programs, paving the way for a more informed, equitable, and empowered India
Ignite a nationwide and global movement by planning, executing, and supporting The Walk of Life—a sacred padyatra tracing the revered path of Shri Adi Shankaracharya. By walking to the 12 Jyotirlinga temples across India, we honor a centuries-old tradition that united the nation intellectually and spiritually, inspiring individuals today to reconnect with their heritage and inner purpose
Champion walking as a transformative lifestyle, especially for senior citizens, to reclaim vitality and mobility. By making walking a daily practice, we aim to counteract the effects of physical aging, strengthen community bonds, and foster long-term wellness—one step at a time
Promote global awareness and appreciation of India’s ancient wisdom by supporting academic programs, research, and Seats of Learning dedicated to the Indian Knowledge System. Through collaborations with leading universities in India and around the world, we aim to preserve and propagate the timeless teachings of Indian culture, heritage, and civilization
